dailymeh: Is this funny in a sad way, or sad in a funny way? In any event, it’s a young member of the Westboro Baptist Church during a protest, photographed by Maxim Ryazansky. Another example of the youth of that fine denomination. (Now what have really pushed the pendulum toward humor would have been if that last R on her shirt was somehow obscured.) Here are the things I noticed. She’s on the phone, she doesn’t seem to really care about why she’s there. Also, she’s standing on an American flag. If I remember correctly, those aren’t supposed to touch the ground… let alone be stood on. Maybe that was a point they were trying to make, I’m not sure.
