My interview at OfficeMax went well. I’m pretty optimistic about it, and I’ll know by the first full week of October.
Moleskine Notebook Mods →
Three really nifty Moleskine mods. I’m definitely going to have to try the pen/pencil holder one when I get a chance. (via Put Things Off)
Chase and Bank of America Revise Fee Policies →
jstn:
Instead of lumping a day’s worth of debit card and A.T.M. transactions together and then processing the highest amounts first — a practice that has caused large numbers of consumers to overdraw more quickly and pay more fees — it will credit the transactions chronologically. Chase also plans to allow customers to opt out of overdraft coverage [and] will cap the number of overdraft fees it...

I saw Madeline play some music last night. Amazing.
Oi.
I finally got my bicycle up and running and went for the first ride in Athens today. That was nice. I still don’t have a job. This is me whining about it. If anybody has any bright ideas on how I can get one of those evasive things, that would be awesome if you would tell me about it. I’d be willing to do retail, food service, or just about anything that doesn’t involve me...
I put my bicycle together.
Of course I’m dumb and didn’t realize both my wheels were quick release until I went into the bike shop and they took one glance at it and asked me where the lever was. Then I went to fill up the tires and realized my pump doesn’t work for some reason. The valve is different than what I remember it being, so I have to figure that out tomorrow. But soon, I’ll have a working...

I watched Harold and Maude the other day. It was wonderful and sad and happy and awesome. Much more than I expected (though I’m not quite sure what I expected). Harold certainly does know how to dress. If all guys dressed like that, the world would be a better place.
My bicycle will be here on Thursday!
I’m so excited! Now I can go on bicycle rides in Athens and I’ll be in shape again and I won’t feel exhausted all the time. Can’t wait!

I just got finished cleaning my MacBook with alcohol. The outside, that is. If it weren’t still under warranty, I would have taken it apart and cleaned the insides as well. Those three weeks in Arizona left it pretty dusty and I have a feeling the insides aren’t very happy. At least it looks nice and white and bright and shiny on the outside, though!
College things
Both of the UGA degrees I want are high-demand majors (photography and telecommunication journalism). I guess that means I would just have to work extra hard at whatever I decide to do. That is, if I actually decide to go back to school come next fall. I know that’s still a long ways away, but if I do actually like living here and all that, it’s totally feasible.
I applied for a...
I moved into a little one-bedroom apartment with Jason yesterday. $425/month, plus electric. It’s in the really awesome part of town, I need a job, but life is good. Athens is awesome and everybody here is super nice and friendly and I’m super pumped about living here. Days are not long enough and it seems like we can never get enough done in one day, but I think we’ve been doing...
