Moved
I’ve more or less moved back in with my dad and stepmom. I still have my bed and stuffed chairs to move tonight (plus a few small things), but I’ve got the essentials set up here. Just a few more months before the trek to Bloomington (yay!).

1. Who in your life would make a really good butler?
I’m going to say my stepmom. She’s always doing the dishes, laundry, and generally cleaning everything in sight. Either that or my sister.
2. Who in your life would make a really good head of state?
Probably that kid who went to my high school and wrote all the really good political articles in the school paper.
3. Who in your...

(via dkoder) Good idea.
I was considering following the trend of posting how many people are following me (because I’ve hit a “landmark” number), but decided it shouldn’t be a popularity contest.

justin: I had a hunch that a pillow fight involving hundreds of people would look cool in super slow motion. I think I was right. You be the judge. It’s good. Long and slow by nature, but fun.

the internet is dangerous/weird/cool.
you can say something about someone on your blog, in the caption of a flickr photo, or in the comments of a news story - totally believing that whatever you say is just being thrown into the wind. whether its a gushing compliment or a scathing critique - whatever… that person will never hear/read it, right?
not always the case.

Regarding Bikes and Amtrak... →
sqpeg:
In response to my comments regarding Amtrak, amwelles was nice enough to comment, “I’m pretty sure you can take your bike on Amtrak.” While I was aware of this, my comment was more geared towards the fact that the the cars with bike racks are not widely available, and often just not there. While you can still box your bike and place it in storage, or bring tie downs to put it in storage...

Boston Bus Wars - $1 tickets and WiFi?! →
sqpeg:
While I hate travel by bus, and would much rather rail service be improved, $1 for a seat and free wifi service during the trip would be awesome. Now I just have to wonder if you can take a bike or not?
Amtrak, can you please get high speed rail service and wifi? And while you’re at it, PLEASE let bikes on the bloody trains. If the whole of Europe can do it, and did years ago, we...

This is simply incredible. I think they should do some movies and TV shows like this someday. Of course, not all of them (because part of movies is the art that the directors/photographers put into them), but a few would be nice.
